Our clinical network.

The Mayfield Clinic locations that accept referred appointments, the appointment types available at each, and how capacity is shared, reserved and grown.

Jex Health provides healthcare partners with face-to-face GP appointments at 19 Mayfield Clinic locations in England, and video GP consultations and clinical triage anywhere in the UK. Capacity is sessional and confirmed per location before any agreement.

Locations that accept referred appointments.

Every location is a Mayfield clinic with its own page, team and published hours. Oxford is the flagship and head office. The others run sessional clinics on set days.

Salcombe and Kingsbridge is a home-visiting service rather than a clinic room. Session days vary by location and are confirmed at scoping.

Face-to-face capacity is not shown live, because clinic rotas differ by town. We confirm it per location during scoping and report time-to-appointment monthly.

How capacity is shared or reserved.

Two ways to buy, reflecting how the clinics actually run.

Shared capacity

Referred patients are booked into available Mayfield appointments at an agreed tariff per completed episode. Usage-based, no volume commitment, and where every partner starts.

Reserved capacity

Dedicated sessions held for a partner's patients at selected locations, on a minimum session fee or volume commitment, with a published rota to book into. Added where demand in a town is predictable, and reviewed each quarter against actual use.

How referrals and clinical handovers work.

The same four steps for every partner, with the detail adapted to the buyer.

  1. Refer

The partner's clinician identifies the need and sends a referral with the clinical question, what has been done and the urgency, through a secure route agreed at onboarding. The patient's consent to share findings is captured here.

  2. Book

The Jex team books the patient into the nearest participating clinic with capacity, or the partner's reserved session, and tells the patient where, when and what to bring.

  3. Assess

A Mayfield GP sees the patient and acts on what they find. Mayfield's GP is responsible for the care given in the room and for acting on results they ordered.

  4. Report

A structured outcome returns to the referring clinician within an agreed time, with results as they arrive. Mayfield holds the clinical record as the provider; the partner's record is completed by the outcome.

How the integration works.

Mayfield runs on Hero Health, a modern clinical and booking platform with an API. That is what lets a partner go beyond forms and email.

StepDay oneIntegrated
See availabilityThe Jex team checks capacity for youYour system reads a live availability feed by location and appointment type
Refer and bookSecure referral form; we book the patient and confirm backYour platform creates the appointment directly in our clinical system by API, with the referral and consent attached

The integration is scoped with your engineering team, built against a test environment and signed off before the first live booking. Data protection roles, consent and what is shared are written into the partnership agreement first.

How new locations are added.

Where a partner's patients are concentrated somewhere we are not yet, a location can be added as part of a structured go-live: a sessional clinic room, local Mayfield GPs recruited and inducted, and agreed capacity, set up and tested before the partner's launch date rather than promised afterwards. It depends on sufficient contracted demand, which is why we scope volumes by geography before we agree anything.

Which partnership is yours? Virtual GP providers, online weight loss providers or health insurers. Other healthcare organisations that own a patient relationship use the same network under the general partnership terms.

Questions about the network.

Which Mayfield locations can accept referred appointments?

All 19 face-to-face locations listed on this page, subject to clinic days and capacity. Oxford has the most GPs and the most clinic days. The other locations run sessional clinics on set days, so we confirm the days and the available appointment types per location before anything is agreed.

What appointment types are available?

Face-to-face GP consultations and physical examinations at every location, observations at every location, blood tests and other investigations at most, ECG at Oxford, and video GP consultations and clinical triage anywhere in the UK. The table on this page sets out which is where.

How is capacity reserved?

Partners start on shared capacity: referred patients are booked into available Mayfield appointments at an agreed tariff. Where demand in a town is predictable, a partner can reserve dedicated sessions there on a minimum session fee or volume commitment, with a published rota to book into.

How are partner referrals and clinical handovers handled?

Referrals reach the Jex team through a secure route agreed at onboarding, carrying the clinical question and the patient's consent to share findings. The patient is booked, seen by a Mayfield GP, and a structured outcome returns to the referring clinician within an agreed time. Mayfield holds the clinical record as the provider.

Can a partner book directly into the clinical system?

Yes. Mayfield runs on Hero Health, which has an API. A partner's platform can read live availability, create appointments directly in our clinical system with the referral and consent attached, and receive the clinical documentation back after the appointment. It is scoped as a one-off build with the partner's engineering team and tested before launch; most partners start on the secure referral form.

Can new locations be added?

Yes, as part of a structured go-live where a partner's demand justifies it: a sessional clinic room, local Mayfield GPs and agreed capacity, set up and tested before the partner's launch date. We would rather add a location properly than promise coverage we cannot deliver.
